In the book intelligent structure published in 1983, Gardner put forward the theory of multiple intelligences. As a psychologist, he didn’t consider more about education applications in the beginning. In spite of this, the book still rained a wide influence in the educational world. Educator who firstly put the theory of multiple intelligences into use appeared in the USA. Soon it reached throughout the world, which of course affected our country’s education broadly.All kinds of education experiments based on the theory of multiple intelligences is widely conducted in our country. Also, Some ideas of the theory influenced our country’s education and teaching greatly. Classroom teaching is the most important and concrete method and approach to attain the goal of education, complete the teaching task and improve teaching quality. Any task of education and teaching must be achieved in the classroom and multiple intelligences are no exception. As a presupposition of classroom teaching, instructional design is one of the most important factors about class generation, whose quality will directly decide the teaching effect. Theory and practice of instructional design has achieved series of achievements and has been applied to specific subject teaching. The value of its application has been widely concerned. According to the theory of multiple intelligences, classroom teaching should aim to develop multiple intelligence of educated people. Each student should get fully coordinated development in eight mental aspects through concrete classroom teaching, which means that advantages get developed and potential is tapped. Affected by the theory mentioned before, the author aims to apply it to the research of geography teaching design in senior high school based on existing traditional teaching design theory, make an attempt at the concept and method of multiple intelligences in high school geography classroom, to provide some reference for teachers in teaching design.This paper mainly includes the following content:PART ONE:for the application of multiple intelligences theory in teaching design about high school geography, illustrate research background, status and significance, analyze its advantage and disadvantage, put forward the research direction and thesis framework.PART TWO:list specific content of the theory of multiple intelligences, influences on teaching design about high school geography, model of teaching design about high school geography in order to provide fundamental theory basis.PART THREE:investigate the status about the theory of multiple intelligences’ application and understanding among the students and teachers in high school; in order to provide realistic foundation.PART FOUR:carry on the model of high school geography teaching design based on the teaching goal, teaching material analysis, learning, teaching strategies and teaching evaluation of multiple intelligences theory.PART FIVE:according to the mentioned design pattern, carry out researches with examples of two typical courses, to test its feasibility and scientific nature.PART SIX:summarize the results, analyze some existing problems in the hope of deepening the research. |
