As a carrier of language education, the importance of Language teaching is self-evident. In order to do better research on Chinese textbooks, there are many scholars have set their sights on the international mother tongue teaching materials. Since they want to compile our Mandarin textbooks improve and perfect through study intensively of other mother tongue textbooks from different countries. Meanwhile, Taiwan, the area where has the same root with us mainland, their textbooks studies are more reference than any other parts of the Chinese circle. I had the opportunity to study in Taiwan for six months as an exchange student last year, this helps me understand Chinese teaching materials more deeply.The background of the first chapter is mainly about introducing the analysis of textbooks written policy and the choice of policy. Then followed by analysis of the writing based on "syllabus" teaching objectives and teaching content. The "syllabus" has two characteristics, namely, training "national" high awareness, curriculum ideas and execution of a selection of standard textbooks. The second chapter is teaching elements of analysis, including textbook appearance typography, binding and printing; Then talk about present elements of composition, the introduction and analysis of "attached book" and analysis of the first class. In the end of this chapter, there is the characteristic constituent elements, which including text-white and no writing section design points.The third chapter we focus on essay system. On the one hand, we distribution statistics by dividing text into type, genre, author of three parts which accordance with classical and style Chinese. On the other hand, summarizing the essay system characteristics according to statistical data. There are mainly about classical Chinese, supplement with Text Language and unity, also focus on modern culture and "national" consciousness. Then,compared with the PEP essay system, are longitudinal comparison. First, in accordance with Section is divided into classical and stylistic text type, genre, author three parts distribution statistics, and the second, three into the classical and the modern paper summarizes the comparison of the similarities and differences. Section IV uses the "Orchid Pavilion" for example a comparative analysis of the characteristics of the two versions duplicate contents.The fourth chapter is the study of knowledge systems. First, the way of knowledge system presentation is centralization series and scatter distribution. Then the feature of the knowledge system is centralized in series with the scatter distribution combines targeted, and writing training pointed and compensateory.The fifth chapter is to study the student system, divided into effect editing, illustration, and "attached booklet" Appreciation of three sections. The main study of illustration, draw illustrations by Han Lin version number of statistics and statistical classification features are:illustrations feature to explanatory illustrations mainly manifested in the form of comic-based, creating a lively reading recessive environment, respect for illustration copyright; and finally and PEP illustrations were compared.Chapter Ⅵ is a summary of the characteristics of the Imperial Edition textbooks and teaching materials to reflect on PEP. A total of six characteristics:focus on the language of the humanities; essay chosen unity; centralized knowledge systems in series with the scatter distribution; diverse student system; to improve reading ability, enhance Chinese culture cultivation as the main learning objectives; typographic design humane. Recommendations:Enhanced selected text with modern relevance; adjust textbook publishing, left blank; increases illustrations interesting; increased student diversity system.
