With the development of urbanization, the increasing number of county workforce are roaring into the cities, which presents a rising trend of migrant children. The statistics on the China’s Migrant Children Report of 2014 show that migrant children aging 0-17 years old have increased over 80 percent. The sum of the migrant children in China had arrived at 35,810 thousand until 2013. These days, the academic field draw more their focus on the living status, the injustice right of education and social adjustment of migrant children, other than the life education or nutrition and health. Especially recent years, the cases of migrant children enduring the crimes or threats of their life and safety spring. The serious consequence scratches people’s hearts. In China, the particularity of migrant children transfers the burden of the education from the family to the school. However, the weak point of the quality-oriented education indicates that the school can not really take the burden of the life education of migrant children. Therefore, the social work intervening in the life education of migrant children has a significant influence in enhancing their awareness of life and safety as an assistant specialized subject.This research mainly selected migrant children of D primary school in District W Wuhan as the research object. Through interviews and questionnaires with the students from the third, the fourth and the fifth grade, it’s obvious that many problems exist after the in-depth analysis of the development of the school life education, the life safety issues and the life safety awareness of students. In view of this situation, the research analyzed the migrant children’s life awareness and life safety events from the perspective of ecological system theory and the crisis intervention theory. Then the researcher took use of the professional methods of the school social work, such as the social casework and the group work and clarified the importance and advantages of school social work intervening in migrant children’s life education, to explore the suitable social work model for migrant children’s life education.
