| With the development of China’s economy, urban development gradually change itsway to the urban modernization transformation. Growing cities are constantly attracts a large number of rural surplus labor force from rural to urban. With the migrant workers flowing from rural to urban, difference appears when their parents have to choose where their children should go. Some of the children of migrant workers choose to stay at rural studying, others choose to stay with their parents. In this context, migrant children education problem is also a corresponding social problem. On the basis of previous studies, scholars have studied deeply in the problem whether the worker’s children should be taken together or stay. With the deepening of China’s urbanization process, there will be more rural population turn to cities. Understanding the will of the migrant children’s studying in urban will help to promote the constant deepening of the urbanization process in our country. Because this study adopt quantitative research methods, with the aid of "new generation peasant workers’ education survey" database, with set migrant workers as the research object, with the debating of children’s willingness to learn and influencing factors on their parents’view, and it put forward the corresponding policy recommendations, I hope it will provide reference and enlightenment for future related research.Problem of the thesis is divided into the following four parts:the first part is introduction. It discusses the research background, research purpose, significance, research methods and research status of the worker’s children’s will of studying in urban. The second part basing on empirical analyses of questionnaire analyses the migrant children’s learning will and related differences, mainly from three dimensions, such as, the access to study, equity of education and the quality of education. The third part analyzes the factors affecting the will of migrant children go to school. The fourth part has carried on the induction. According to the result of empirical analysis and summing up the conclusion, it puts forward some helpful Suggestions for the children studying in the city.In a word, through the research, the will of migrant workers’children studying in urban can be concluded into three points. First, the migrant workers hold a stronger attitude for their children studying in the city; Second, migrant workers hold a stronger opinion that their children should receive equal education; Third, rural migrant workers’ desire of a high quality education for their children become more intensively. Main factors that influence the effect of the will of migrant children go to school can be separated into personal factors, unbalance of urban and rural education level, and the factor of education expectation. The author hopes that this article research results of related research may provide reference for future scholars or reference. |
