Base on the Brain-drain and the special employment difficulty of social work students,together with the development status quo of social work in China to determine the topic of this paper.After analyzing the literature in existence and making the research plan,qualitative and quantitative research method are used in this paper. The three master of social work graduates in H university are selected as the respondent,and the case study interviews and secondary data collection are used to evidence data.In the data analysis stage, inputting the questionnaire data into the SPSS, describing three session of master degree graduates employment status quo by statistical analysis, and doing the analysis of means of influence factors.Finally, based on the analysis result above to carry out the optimization strategy on promoting employment about the master of social work.From an overall perspective,the employment of the master social work student in H university in a good condition,high employment rate,High degree of job satisfaction,the monthly income between 3000 and 5000.From the demographic characteristics perspective,there is no significant difference between monthly income and different demographic characteristics,but job satisfaction and Occupational Mobility show significant difference as the change of demographic characteristics. From the perspective of social work profession,the occupational mobility of social work industry is stronger, and the occupational mobility is related to the work experience.In 2 years work experience, occupational mobility is more stronger and will strengthen as time gone by;but when over 2 years,the whole occupational mobility will decline and the tendency will strengthen as the work experience increasing.The analysis of means in social environment and support factors and individual factors acting on the employment of master of social work shows that in social environment factors,worrying about the healthy condition of parents force some students to select the job nearby;in working environment,they focus more on the soft condition,including the future of work,the working space;in institution,they pay more attention to social identity and government support.In social support factors, the influence of supporting from work unit is more powerful than family and friends.In individual factors,students value self occupational identity.The optimization strategy in this paper is based on the results above, including follows:first, perfecting the system of social workers and improving the professional level; second, improving the social cognition and enhancing social support; third, expanding employment and improving the working environment; forth, reforming curriculum system and strengthening the construction of teachers; fifth, playing to the subjective active and enhancing professional identity.
