| In China, the primary phase of the study is the basis of students’learning. If compare learning process in a person’s life to a pyramid, then the primary stage of learning is the cornerstone of this pyramid. Students need to master basic math basics and have a certain ability to solve practical problems.The problem solution is elementary in mathematics teaching of primary school. With Mathematics teaching in primary schools, teachers use questioning ways to teach how to deal with the problem solution. While the 2011 version of the new curriculum standards in educational philosophy advocated understanding, which will help us better to start teaching a new way of applied problems.This study analyzes the current situation of teaching elementary school mathematics, and then using relevant data and theory to explore the problems in teachers and students. Lastly author proposes teaching strategies in application problems in line with students’cognitive development, with a view of teaching elementary school mathematics word problems, which makes some meaningful attempt to provide some workable teaching strategies for educators to improve teaching efficiency.This paper focuses on the current problems in a primary school mathematics teaching research. Author will regard primary school mathematics problem situation as the research object,questionnaires, classroom observation and other ways to get information, and data were analyzed with to understand the current status situation of teaching elementary school mathematics application problems, as well as some of the teachers on the application of the new curriculum reform issues of content knowledge and teaching in confusion.This paper consists of five parts. The first part is an overview of elementary school mathematics word problems, which covers the definition of word problems, classification, presentation in textbooks and scheduling features and application problems related to the theoretical basis of teaching, etc.The second part is to study the problem of teaching elementary mathematics current status. With teachers and students of two schools as subjects of the study, author conducted a questionnaire survey, and communicated to experienced teachers, and then analyze results and changes in application problems in Mathematics teaching.The third part is to optimize teaching strategies of the current application problems in teaching.The fourth part is about the primary cases in solving problems, the content is from "Number and Algebra", "Graphics and Geometry", "Statistics and Probability" and the typical application cases for analysis. |
