Objective:By doing the quantitative research on the married childbearing age Uyghur female family function, social support, living quality and emotional needs, and qualitative research on the family pressure to understand their family status, and to discuss the relativity between interior family index and emotional needs, as well as to analyze the influential factors and living pressure of the emotional needs factors, that to provide the evidence for the officials. Methods:To adopt the multiphase sampling, to do the questionnaires with 610 married female who aged from 18 to 49 from 54 villages of north and east Xinjiang. The questions include the basic information, family function (FD), and social support rating scale (SSRS), brief health survey questionnaire and emotional needs scale. To analyze the data with SPSS17.0, to analyze the married Uyghur female emotional needs factor index by rank-sum test, Pearson correlation analysis, principal component analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis, for the living pressure to use chi-square test and content classification analysis. Results:(1)The average age of respondents is 34.28±8.54, and farmer takes up 38.56% of the occupation, junior school degree is the main group which account for 30.88%, the monthly income is low,59.43% of them keep good spouse relationship, and 1.67% is bad. The nuclear family takes up 50.92%, the marriage period around 1-5 years account for 33.39%, and 29.88% of the family have 2 offspring.(2)The total marks of the family function is 124.60±23.29, the medium is 124; social support is 39.32±6.53, medium is 39; 84% of the family stay medium and above level of life quality, the median is 106; in the scale, the difference is significant between most of the dimension and respondents’demographic characteristics(P<0.05).(3)Emotional needs:the low, medium and high level demand of emotion is 18.03%、 67.78%、14.19%, the median is 97, the satisfaction of the emotional needs is 74.96%; the multiple stepwise regression shows that, the main influencing factors for the emotional needs of the married childbearing female are age, the relationship with the spouse and education degree.(4) The emotional needs has positive correlation with the family function (R=0.198, P<0.01), and has the negative correlation with the social support(R=-0.143,P<0.01), as well as the living quality(R=-0.153, P<0.01).(5)The satisfaction of emotional needs has negative correlation with emotional needs/affection demand (R=-0.431, P<0.01), as well as the total marks of family function(R=-0.245, P<0.01); the satisfaction of emotional needs has positive correlation with social support(R=0.315,P<0.01),affection function (R=0.141), vitality (R=0.107), psychological health/well-being (R=0.172) and total marks of living quality (R=0.141).(6)Each factors of the emotional needs has different influential factors, the synthetical factors of emotional needs:age, the relationship with spouse, objective support; the demand factor of family responsibility:age, the education background of spouse, career, the number of children and family function; the demand factor of housework assistance:education background, age, the number of children, role, problem solving, objective support and subjective support; the demand factor of spouse attractiveness:the number of children; the demand factor of entertainment companion/mate:age, the relationship of spouse and social support; the demand factor of finance:education background, subjective support, energy and emotion reaction.(7)The number of interviewee is 255, the main pressure is financial pressure, inner family pressure which takes up to 92.9%, and personnel pressure; for the financial pressure mainly caused by the loan which account for 44.25%, for the inner family pressure most resulted by the husband which is 58.2%, and the self health status is the main pressure for the personnel pressure which marks as 63.9%.Results:for the married childbearing Uyghur female, the emotional needs stay at the medium level; and every determiner/divisor/factor influenced by many influential factors. So for improving the satisfaction of emotional needs of the Uyghur married childbearing female, the government needs to accomplish those following goals: strengthen ideological education, get rid of the traditional concept, balance the family role, improve the family and group support to build a tolerant environment, enhance the financial assistance and skill training, carry out exchange activities, provide counseling, improve the family development capacity and strengthen the implement of family policies.
