The 21 st century is the key period of social transformation and of national values pluralism in China. It is very important to educate the young generation thought political education. Nowadays, Political lesson as a course of the ordinary high school is different with other courses, it belongs to the scientific courses system and also belongs to the moral education system. Political lesson not only can train students’ ability of learning, but also train students’ scientific way of thinking. It is very important to choice the teaching model of political lesson to achieve its dual education purpose,especially to strenghthen the result of “ideological education”. The author thinks that "Round Table" teaching model is a good choice.Phillips Ethiopia walcott was the first person who carried out the "Round Table" teaching methods in school in the U.S., and he was finally successful. Gradually, it accepted by part of the European countries and constantly promoted. In China, this teaching mode is still in experimental stage and early stage.Overall,secondary school education did not pay more attion to the teaching model and the application range is not big.In order to this new teaching pattern in our education with greater recognition and a wider range of applications,The author has carried on the system research to the problem of “Round Table”teaching model ofteaching characteristics and the necessity of the application and application method.According to the new teaching model research,the author wrote this essay.So, this paper mainly from four aspects to carry out the research:The first part: Introduction. This part mainly introduces what is the teaching method of "Round Table", and the research status at home and abroad, the research significance, research methods, the feasible and the deficiency of "Round Table" teaching methods.The second part: This part mainly introduces the necessity of the implementation of the "Round Table" in the high school political lesson.The third part: In this part, which is the centre of this paper, mainly talk about the "Round Table" teaching methods’ basic implement strategy in high school political lesson, including the implement preparation, the reference model, the guided learning plan, the teaching period, the concrete teaching process and the evaluation of the "Round Table" teaching methods.The fourth part: It is the last part of this paper, mainly talk about the reflection and summary of "Round Table" teaching in the high school political lesson.
