| Community resource means all the "hardware" and "software" factors that is outside of the kindergarten and closely related to children’s lives, and learning, which including material resources, human resources, cultural resources, financial resources, etc. It is circum with one center when we choose to use community resources in the process of activities,within a certain amount of time and space, purposively to choose valuable community resource, through proper forms and ways using to theme activities, to enrich the content of children’s activities, extending learning activities space, and promote the development of young children in autonomous exploration.During the preliminary study, the researchers investigated and field survey the Xiangshan district office in Guilin, through interviews and taking photos to understand and record the conditions of its community resources. In the study, it is using the observation method, questionnaire method, interview method and so on, to study the selection and the use of community resources of 4 kindergartens in Guilin Xiangshan district. Through pictures, videos and observation to record the 4 months theme activities of the 4 kindergartens. Through the method of questionnaire to collect the 92 kindergarten teachers basic opinions about the utilization of community resources; Through the method of interview to collect the 11 kindergarten teachers’interviews. Base on this, combining with the situation we analysis the result and summarized the basic principle of community resources selection, in order to make good convenient of using community resources for kindergarten educational workers and personnel utilization.Study shows that kindergarten in the community has a lot of resources, different community resources has different correlation in kindergarten theme activities. From the selection, it is "occasionally" apply in the theme activities in the choice of community resources, it is closely connect to the the content of the activity, goals of the activity, young children’s interests and resource itself. From the using, different types of theme activities would use different kinds or frequencies community resources, which including the use of necessary reference book, pictures, or PPT, video, etc. Generatively events usually will invite all kinds of people in the community as a teaching assistant in the community, professional lectures, exercises and activities in the park simulation, go out to visit, sightseeing, experience, theatrical performances, love the fellowship activities, etc.Kindergarten theme activities in the choice of community resources and utilization is still in the practice and exploration stage,so it still exist the following problems in the process:lack of integration,The use of community resources form is relatively simpleness, become a mere formality, has not yet to truly realize the connotation of child participation".Investigate its reason,it’s insufficient that teachers for selection and use of community resources in the theme activity, knowledge, thinking, ability is insufficient; People in the community preschool education consciousness and ability is weak;Kindergarten lack of use of community resources evaluation, motivation, development mechanism;Local education departments to kindergarten use of community resources and the guidance of evaluation are detailed and comprehensive enough are affected community resources in the kindergarten theme selection and use of the significant cause.Pointing on the existing problems and the reason how they form, the researchers think that in order to make the community resources in kindergarten theme activities to fully and effectively use, we should do the following several:aspectsneed to adhere to security and openness, suitability and expansibility, diversity and economy, the principle of combining local and creativity. By establishing the community resource library, accumulate the relevant theme about content, combined with early childhood experience of community resources; "Please come in" and "going out" combining use of community resources;In-depth study the theme activity teaching materials, promote the generation of theme activity; Combined with the campus into the research, promote the theme activity characteristic, taking use of community resources; Concrete methods, such as construction of cooperation with the community which only in this way,we can truly forming a good interaction with the community kindergarten. |
