The Research On Ecological Civilization Education Of Contemporary College Students

Industrial civilization can meet all kinds of material needs for human beings, and is also a dynamic, competitive and creative culture. Currently, people have exploited all kinds of natural resources to develop the economy, and ignore the protection of environment, which caused the global ecological environment crisis.This needs us to reposition our own role in nature. we should realize that human is just one part of the most common nature. In pursuit of our own interests, we should also consider the interests of grandchildren and our nation. As a new stage of development of human civilization,ecological civilization explains the relationship between human and nature from a unique perspective.Now our national condition decides that we need to make the harmonious development of economic construction and ecological civilization construction, and explore a ecological civilization development way to bring real benefits to the Chinese nation. University students are in the key position for the sustainable development and human civilization construction, as well as the key combination of productivity and talents. College students are the future of national development, is the leader, the propagandist and practitioners of ecological civilization construction. Therefore, education of college students in ecological civilization is the inevitable choice of historical development.Under the background of increasingly serious ecological environment, this paper gives a comprehensive and systematic analysis for the essence of the ecological civilization, defines ecological civilization and its related concepts, expounds the theory origin of contemporary college students’ ecological civilization education,and points out that the college students’ ecological civilization education is an urgent need of the current situation of ecological environment, an objective requirement of ecological civilization construction in our country, and the inevitable requirement of college students’ all-round development.Through investigation and study, the author firstly summarizes some of the results that are obtained in the ecological civilization education of contemporary university students. Based on these results, the author analyzes the related problems of the current college students’ ecological civilization education. Secondly, the author analyses the reason for the college students’ ecologicalcivilization education problems, namely the utilitarianism of traditional education concept,improper social environment and the dislocation of the undergraduates’ values, and then carries on the thorough analysis to this. Finally based on the present situation, from classroom education,practice education, the campus construction of ecological culture, she systematically summes up the predecessors’ research results, and on the basis of these results,she creatively puts forward the new ideas and hopes to provide the referential significance for the development of college students’ ecological civilization education.
