Children’s independent inquiry behavior is very important to cultivate the children’s inquiry literacy, but often ignored by teachers.This paper mainly adopts literature method, observation method and case analysis method, discusses the analysis of children’s independent inquiry behavior, basing on this, proposes the support strategies on children’s independent inquiry behavior.The thesis mainly consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction, expounds the reasons for choosing this topic, significance,the definition of the core concept, related researches and the research design.The second part analyzes the children’s independent inquiry behaviors in one day’s life. Through the analysis of children’s independent inquiry behaviors, summarize the characteristics of children’s independent inquiry behavior in time, space, content, method and degree.The third part puts forward the strategies to support the children’s independent inquiry behavior in one day’s life, including creating the environment, putting the materials, giving the time and space support, and teachers’ guiding on children’s independent inquiry behavior.The fourth part reflects the deficiency of this study and the place needing to be improved.
