Due to hearing loss, hearing impaired children have obstacles in their daily speech communication. They usually communicate through sign language.Restricted by the use of sign language, children with hearing impairment have relatively difficulty in psychological communication, which can easily lead to impulsive, irritable, extreme and other negative emotions. Some studies have shown that children with hearing impairment are more passive and immature emotionally than their peers.Compared with ordinary children, hearing impaired children show more aggression and aggression, and often show aggressive behavior. The occurrence of these aggressive acts will cause physical injury or property damage to others, not only to the hearing impaired children around the crowd, but also to their families and society.Problem behavior intervention has always been a very important topic in special education, and positive behavior support has great significance and application potential in dealing with problem behavior of special children.Positive Behavior Support advocates systematic intervention in individual problem behaviors by means of educational behavioral management, and targeted reduction of individual problem behaviors and increase of positive behaviors by using behavioral function assessment. This method emphasizes the adjustment of individual living environment and the development of individual behavioral skills,so as to improve the quality of individual life.In this study,a hearing impaired child with aggressive behavior was taken as an example.By observing his daily behavior directly and communicating with his teachers and parents indirectly, the detailed information of the case was recorded and the functional behavior was assessed.Based on the analysis of the aggressive behavior of the case, the intervention program was drawn up to explore the effect of positive behavior support on the aggressive behavior of hearing impaired children.Through the specific strategies of controlling the past, improving the ecological environment, teaching behavior and dealing with the consequences, and assisting teachers to intervene, the occurrence and severity of aggressive behavior ofhearing impaired children are effectively reduced, and their participation in class and communication and cooperation ability are improved. This paper draws the following conclusions:1.Functional Behavior Assessment can effectively reveal the function of aggressive behavior in hearing impaired children.2.Positive behavior support intervention can effectively reduce the aggressive behavior of hearing impaired children.3.The intervention effect of aggressive behavior of hearing impaired children is affected by many factors.
