In recent years, a lot of research in erhu theory research focuses on erhu music of the improvement of technical skills and technical analysis, rarely to erhu teaching literature, for the study of the teaching mode of the erhu teaching is insufficient. The author believed that teaching is an important way for erhu inheritance culture, standardization, systematization, only the teaching to the erhu art of passed down from one generation to another. Theory, on the other hand, total want to put into practice, and practice test his rationality. A lot of research on erhu technical skills through teaching to verify its feasibility, technique innovative techniques to teach more students, only such ability of the development of erhu is better. So from this perspective of erhu art inheritance and development, for erhu teaching theory research is very necessary.This paper mainly studied the erhu commonly used three kinds of teaching modes in the teaching process, and they are individual lessons, group classes and class. For the three teaching modes in the respective advantages and disadvantages, this paper expounds in detail. And then, through the method of comparative study sums up the scope of this several teaching modes and how to make the teaching mode of up in the process of teaching. After a series of comparative study, the author thinks that three kinds of advantages and disadvantages of each teaching mode in the process of erhu teaching, should be to change teaching mode according to the actual teaching situation, when necessary, can take two kinds of teaching modes in parallel manner. Hope that through the study of three kinds of teaching modes in erhu can be applied to the actual of erhu teaching, make the erhu teaching system is more and more standard, system, improve the teaching quality of erhu teaching, thus promoting the cause of erhu better inheritance and development.
