Vocational education can not be replaced in training techniques and skills by other kinds of education. Therefore, vocational education are highly valued by state and society, and vigorously develop vocational education has become an important national policy in China. In recent years, vocational education has got more and more attention in our country and society, especially since the reform and opening up, China has been vigorously develop vocational education, and the research on the vocational education and vocational education curriculum and teaching theory are more extensive and in-depth. As an important part of vocational education, vocational education curriculum and teaching theory is evoluted from the curriculum and teaching theory. Economic and social modernization and rapid development put forward new requirements for vocational education. Vocational education research has become an inevitable response to explorate modern vocational education curriculum and teaching theory, which is based on concept of sustainable development and lifelong education.With the development of changes in human social, economic and professional, vocational education has gone through different stages of development, so does the vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. History has provided important background information for people to understand the current vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. Conduct historical research on curriculum and pedagogy theory of vocational education, is to ascertain development track of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory, to summarize the fatures of development of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory, to prospect the development trend of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. In a sense, the development process of industrial countries are representative on vocational education in the world, and has an important reference and influence to other countries. Therefore, study the vocational education curriculum and teaching theory of historical development of evolution on developed countries, allows us to know and understand the trajectory and characteristics of the world’s vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. On this basis, the research combined with the development of vocational AbstractVocational education bears the important task to meet the needs of society, and it is the education in our country in modern times, sort of historical evolution of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory, so the study collected foreign and Chinese historical development and practical experience.This study used literature research, historical research and comparative to study and analysis the world and China’s vocational education curriculum and teaching theory and help us clarify vocational education curriculum and teaching theory in different historical periods and the times features, and provide some historical reference for reform and development of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. Specifically, this study is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction part. This part mainly introduced Why do this study, how to conduct this study, the significance of this study, and reviewed the history of development of overseas and domestic on vocational education curriculum and teaching theory and clarified sevaral concepts in this study.The second chapter, the history of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. Through the collection, collation and analysis of relevant research literature, and then use historical research and comparative research on the emergence and development background for the world of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory, and sort the development context of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory.The third chapter is the Chinese history of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. This chapter indepthly analyses the history of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory from the modern times, summary the development and characteristics of curriculum and teaching theory in in modern times and the reform and opening up.The fourth chapter, the development trend of contemporary vocational education curriculum and teaching theory. The chapter predict and prospects for the current development trend of vocational education curriculum and teaching theory.
