Since the market-oriented reform of our country, Vocational education has gradually become the "secondary education". The inferior status of Vocational education in people’s perception, is actually a reflection of people’s attitude, opinion and evaluation for different occupation, which reflect the public’s occupational view issues. The so-called "occupational view", in short, is people’s attitude and view towards occupation. Its formation has profound socio-cultural and economic context, is a dialectical historical development process. The direct reflection of the occupational view is people’s career choice, based on this, Vocational education students and their career choice, career development will further affect educational choices of citizens. Therefore, study on development of Vocational education from the point of occupational view is a new perspective.This dissertation mainly adopts the method of theoretical research, through the historical study and realistic analyze, to discusses the relationship between occupational view and the vocational education development. Mainly include the following:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the view selection, the background of topic selected, and the significance of this study, retrospective studies of Chinese and foreign scholars, define the essential core concepts, point out the research contents and methods.In the second chapter, analyze the social factors influence occupational view’s formation and evolution, Including social culture, system and norms, political and economic structure, the pursuit of the ideal society, etc. Lay the foundation for the following analysis of relationship between occupational view and Vocational Education.In the third chapter, the first part is to explain how the occupational view affects the development of Vocational education. Then through historical investigation, analyze the form of occupational view and the socio-economic environment in different historical period. At the same time, showing the development of Vocational education in the corresponding period, analyze the inner link between occupational view and Vocational education status.The fourth chapter mainly presents the multiple performance of the current occupational view, and the different effects of the performance on the development of Vocational education, emphasized the reality that development of vocational education is still facing obstacles. Through a number of social phenomena and problems analyze the current adverse occupational view, and point out the social dilemma of the development of Vocational education.The fifth chapter from the perspective of occupational view affects the development of Vocational education thinking countermeasures to improve both of them. Not only emphasize the important role of the social environment of Vocational education development, try to create a positive social atmosphere, improve the social employment environment, perfecting social security system, but also pays attention to the improvement of the social awareness of Vocational education through educational action, implement enlightenment vocational education and correct education triage system. More attention should be paid to the efforts of Vocational education itself, to enhance the quality of Vocational education.
