Classical poetry is the treasure of our traditional culture, its inheriting classical culture, promote the development of students’ healthy personality. Classical poetry teaching is also our education workers a big burden, especially under the background of new course standard, is important in the high school teaching classical poetry, but it has many problems in practical teaching.These issues reflect both in teaching and learning. From the aspects of students, students are not interested in poetry study, lack of initiative, teachers also regards the exam-oriented training which light and light taste standard unified understanding, appreciation, etc. The reason for these problems from both the social aspects, such as the impact of the current multi-cultural society, such as the current overall education presents the utilitarian; And teachers’ reasons, such as caused by inadequate literary accomplishment in poetry reading ability insufficiency, the old teaching methods and so on.Guidance on the theory of reception aesthetics, this paper puts forward strategy "for the" high school teaching classical poetry. Teachers and students as a special reader, have the potential reserves of knowledge and knowledge framework for appreciation.
