These data are valuable to the publishing industry, especially the development of e-books.College students is a group of e-book reader force. They are quick to learn new things. In China college students scale is gradually expanding every year. And the main task of college students is to read. Reading is of great significance to the College Students. So the study of e-book reading based on college students has great value.This paper first introduces the research background and research significance. With the development of science and technology, e-book reading as a new reading behavior, the research on e-reading is not deep enough. Especially the e-book reading research which based on college students are more less. The data in this paper have important significance to e-book content producers, e-book sales, as well as the government.This paper made a questionnaire survey on College Students’ group in Nanjing city. Using the literature analysis method, comparative research method, questionnaire survey method, and statistical analysis method to analyze the stats.Then through a detailed analysis of the questionnaire data, the basic situation of college students group e-book reading, and the basic characteristics and problems of e-book reading are summaried. At last in order to improve the e-book reading, Provides a number of strategies and suggestions to the e-book content producers, e-book reader equipment manufacturer, e-book sales network platform and the government.This article follows the questions, find problems, solve the problems. The first chapter, defined the concept of e-books and e-readers, and discusses the results of previous studies on e-book reading. And introduces the research method and the innovation points of this paper.The second chapter mainly analyzes the present situation of college students e-book reading and basic characteristics, such as content,time,device etc.The third chapter mainly discusses the college student e-book reading problems.Through the statistical analysis of the survey data, summarizes the student e-book reading process some problems, including college students personal factors and external factors.The fourth chapter in view of these problems, and discusses the future trend of e-book reading and put forward the relevant suggestions of college students e-book reading quality.The fifth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the main conclusions of the study and the lack of the research.
