Beijing Population Migration Dynamic Mechanism Research

The reasons and motivation of population migration is a key research area of social sciences such as Demography, Economics for long time. Since the1990s, in the background of the economic and social transformation, China's market-oriented reforms make the factor mobility more frequent, also contributed to China's large-scale population migration. In the21st century, population migration active has become increasingly evident; it has become an important socio-economic phenomenon and become an important part of China's urbanization process. Rapid urbanization and large-scale population migration between rural and urban have a profound impact to economic development and integration of resources. Therefore, explore the causes of population migration in China, find the inner motivation, and formulate relevant policies on this basis is particularly important for guiding population migration and achieving labor resources optimal allocation.This paper is based on the theory of population's economic pressure, taking the2000-2010population migration in Beijing as research object, base on the existing research results, propose a suitable population's economic pressure evaluation index system, and find the inner motivation of population migration by calculating population's economic pressure indicators and using regression analysis.First, about the population's economic pressure evaluation index system, this paper review the population motivation's theoretical studies and the research results of population's economic pressure evaluation index system. All of the index system will be grouped in five systems: population pressure indicator system, living cost pressure indicator system, employment and income pressure indicator system, resource and environmental pressure indicator system, public services pressure indicator system, then establish the population's economic pressure evaluation index system of Beijing.Second, base on the data which could be searched, using the principal component analysis in running the SPSS statistical software program modules after standardizing the data. It can directly get the assessment values of the five indicator systems, and the final comprehensive assessment values will be calculated by the way of analytic hierarchy process.Finally, by using SPSS regression analysis module, multiple linear regression analysis of5pressure index and the scale of the Beijing population migration, and fitted the regression equation of the scale of population migration, complete the quantitative analysis of5pressure index and Beijing population migration among2000-2010, come to the living cost pressures, employment and income pressure, environment pressure, and public services pressure is the motivation power of population migration.Base on the results, the end of the paper made some suggestion for regulation of population size and the management of the city's population of Beijing in order to provide decision makers with a reasonable policy support in practice.
