In social work practice,each client is a unique individual,especially in children team work,they are in the innocent age,so in the group activity,they are more likely to express your thoughts and emotions.But in the process of performing the inner world,they may meet some obstacles,such as, they are lack of a fixed maturity model of communication.Sometimes,they cannot express clearly only on oral language,then,they use body language to express the auxiliary instead.In this research,the author make the children in 4:30 school in Lanzhou as examples,adopting the method of positive growth children team work,by the way of participatory observation and interviews,the author found that in different stages of the group,the body languages of clients are different.(Ⅰ)At the beginning of the group,client use some body language again and again to attract the attention of the social workers.including in order to become the focus of the group,or to get more attention.And because lack of initiative in participation,in order to make social workers find and guide them to speak,then,they will use body language.(Ⅱ)In the middle of the group.client may use some body languages to show their intimacy to social workers,or to participate in group activities to relax.(Ⅲ)In the late group,clients will show all sorts of messy body language in the activity,in order to resist the fact that the group will be finished.In the various periods of group,social workers will combine body language with language,making different feedback to clients’ body language.But in fact,there are still some clients can not get feedback they expected when showing the subtle body language, and how to use body language and language properly.These problems are all worthy of social workers to reflect. the body language of the clients in the author’s study of the positive growth of children in the group played an important role in the aspect of communication, relationships, and participation.
