The development of the times always leads the pace of education, to pursue knowledge is one aspect of education to adapt to development, while to have the perfect personality, good psychological quality, noble morality is the premise of social sustainable and harmonious development. The thought political lesson as a civic education course for students, to students on world outlook, outlook on life and values education and the main position of moral education implementation. However, the education defects in reality have been proposed more and more, the key to the problem is what kind of education idea we use and whether put the scientific education idea into our the long-term teaching practice or not. At the same time, education is not simply the school work, which is a set of school, society, family as one of the comprehensive social behavior. Students can form a good moral quality and ethical spirit, which needs the teacher, parents and society to make joint efforts. Indeed, education can not have achievements in one day, which has its own inherent process, we only carry out the reform of the education steadily, during which influence students by the teacher’s ethical spirit and sense of responsibility, which can promote the development of education continuously.Ideological and political teaching is a science which is based on socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization construction of under the guidance of Marxist theory of knowledge and it has the features of wide and comprehensive. It affects students life in all aspects and it involves all contents of economics, politics, culture, philosophy, psychology and so, no matter what structure it is, it contains rich ethical value.This research mainly adopts three methods. First is Literature Research Methodology. Search the literature of the Internet, books, newspapers, periodicals and so on, which includes research results about education, teaching ethics value in recent years at home and abroad. after collating, concluding and analysis, ethical values of the ideological and political teaching and its development are summarized deeply. Explore further the development of ethical values of the ideological and political teaching based on literature research theory. Second is Theoretical Research. Study the research results of constructivism, multiple intelligence theory and of the zone of proximal development theory concerned with educational science and adolescent mental health to its development of ethical values of the ideological and political teaching, which provides direct theoretical basis for the writing of this paper. Third is Observation Approaches, which is classroom observation, recording the classroom situation, and collecting the proof material.The paper is divided into five partsThe first part is introduction. Research background, significance, research status at home and abroad, the definition related concepts, research methods, main and difficulties and innovation research are introduced.In the second part is the explanation of the contents of the ethical values of the ideological and political teaching based on fully understanding ethical values of the ideological and political teaching from the moral values, the economic ethics value, political ethics value and ecological ethics value. Put forward the significance of the ethical values of the ideological and political teaching, that is to cultivate the students’ good psychological quality and moral quality, to conducive to the cultivation of humanistic spirit and humanistic quality of students, to help students to form scientific world outlook, outlook on life and values.The third part analyses the development of ethical value of ideological and political teaching faces many problems, such as the exam-oriented education constraints the implementation of ethical value, education ideas fall behind abandon the ethics value, effects of the negative social phenomenon make the school moral education weak.The fourth part proposes the strategies of the development of ethical value of ideological and political teaching including cultivating ethics teacher to explore teachers’education ethics spirit, interpreting the text to realize the dominance of ethical value, carrying out the course evaluation and intensifying the development of ethical value of ideological and political teaching to provide theoretical and practical support for the ethical value of ideological and political teaching.The fifth part is the conclusion. Mainly summarize this thesis.
