Abstract/Summary:
As the foundation and core of other education working matters in China's colleges and universities, ideological and political affairs for students is a distinguishing feature of China's higher education career. It holds the balance in higher education works, and concerns with the quality of China's personnel training. The substance and mission of ideological and political affair require that the objectives it aims at should embody the highly concerned ethical spirit of personal towards human nature and all-round free development of human beings, especially college students.For quite some time, however, affected by a collective of elements accumulated, ideological and political education in China have the tendency to be instrumental rationality and instrumentalism, performed as social values rather personal values weighted, reinforcement rather consciousness emphasized, reason rather emotion flourished, and lack of some ethical concerning. The partial cognition of the education fails to realize the buried substance of ideological and political affairs for students, neglecting the fact that only when an education turns to such kind of self-teaching can it make sense, which prevented ideological and political affairs for students from fulfilling the effect and exerting the function of its belonging.From the perspective of value orientation, ideological and political education boasts of multi-dimension such as politics, economics, culture, and ethics. This research concentrates on the functions and objectives of ideological and political affairs for students in the aspect of ethics. And it aims at breaking new ground of ideological and political affairs for students that meets with the demands of ethics, conforms to the rule of college students'maturity, and will achieve the all-round development of students. The whole thesis is divided into the following four parts:Chapter One,The introduction expatiates the reason and meaning of choosing this subject, summarizes the situation of study at home and abroad, demonstrates the method and thought of study, with analyzing the necessity and practical merits of college students'ideological and political education from the point of ethics.Chapter Two,On the basis of understanding the concept of ideological and political education, this chapter primarily deals with ethic connotation, ethic principle, ethic objectives, and ethic function of its belonging, pointing out of the essential orientation of spreading college students'ideological and political education that it concerned.Chapter Three,This chapter analysis and articulates the primary manifestations and characteristics derived from ethic shortage of current college students'ideological and political education, with further analyzes about the roots, which leads to college students' ideological and political education problem, deep-seated. Societal level and individual reason serve to be the breakthrough.Chapter Four,This chapter makes response to the essential ethics requirements on college students' ideological and political education and, by the dimension of innovative approach, illustrates the specific thought about how to step out of the ethics dilemmas in college students' ideological and political education.
