This research aims to study the application of pictures in high school physics teaching, and paper practical feasibility of image teaching method, the effectiveness of high school physics teaching to improve teaching method and picture. Through this research, trying to explore the specific implementation scheme of image teaching method. Hope in this study based on the high school physics teaching, and puts forward some constructive suggestions.In the introduction part of the concept of "picture" are defined. On the basis of this, this study uses the psychology and cognitive science thoughts, theoretical feasibility of image teaching method. Then, based on the existing picture of the arrangement, the method of scientific classification, classified according to image features, given the concrete according to the teaching function on image classification scheme. Then, using the experimental method of control, a group of pictures used teaching method, a group not to use pictures teaching method, through a study of the students, the students’ learning situation, and consciously explore the sensitivity of students on the picture. Through the student’s language to describe the physical ability to judge the students interest in learning and students’ physics. Through interviews with students, understand students before and after receiving pictures teaching learning situation, take the student as the main body, this paper introduces the feasibility of image teaching method. The students in different periods of the interview will be an important content of the research, and the interview is intended to explore the effectiveness of image teaching method.In the research method, action research is the main research method. The traditional teaching mode will cause varying degrees of impact on students. Then, after using the picture teaching method, its effect on students’ is still the same? Action research is to take some strategies on the research object, trying to affect the object of study, and then analysis the feasibility of the method. In this study, the need to explore the effectiveness of image teaching in high school physics classroom, in order to obtain the action research results, data processing, this study adopts interview. Interviews can select multiple samples, a detailed analysis of the different levels of students. And, by the same research samples before and after picture teaching contrast, reflect the effectiveness of teaching, more objective and fair.Mainly reflected the characteristic of the research in the picture teaching method and teaching function put forward to classify images. At the same time, in the form of pictures, complete the introduction of new lesson part, in explaining the new course content, use the same picture, the end of the class, and going back to the picture, a kind of teaching mode that also allows educators learn in the classroom teaching.The paper concludes that:1. Pictures can be classified according to the teaching function of different finishing, in favor of teacher induction to the teaching materials and finishing.2. Picture teaching method can stimulate students’ interest in learning physics, has certain help to improve the scientific literacy of the students.
