Ordinary high school stage, the purpose of physics course is the most important is to make the deal with students physical ability was improved, the teaching of physics teachers not only for students a professor of physics knowledge, but also teach students scientific research methods. Old and new teaching material, by contrast, clear image more and more obviously, and also to the image of the teaching curriculum puts forward some requirements, so in the stage of senior physics teaching should be enough to improve students' understanding of image method application ability. Although the status of image method physics teaching is more and more significant, but the actual application situation is this: the students attitude towards the application of the method of image is not positive, the teachers will use image method in the process of teaching, but in the examination is not advocate students use image method to solving the problem.This topic with the image method in the application of senior physics teaching as the research content, in access to relevant information under the background of building the framework of the paper, first of all images, image, image method were compared to distinguish these concepts, defines the image method for using both image and contains special mathematical meaning of image to reflect the various physical phenomena in physics, the physical process and the method of physical laws. Image method in the application of the teaching in psychology is also able to find its theoretical basis. Any a seemingly simple physical image, it contains a lot of physical information specific to which a few aspects, this paper has pointed out. No matter in the physical concepts, in the physical laws, in the physical experiments or in the physical exercises, use of image method has its unique feature. Image method can help students to grasp the physical concept; Find the laws of physics; Optimization of experimental data processing; Simplify the solution physical exercises step. Aim at the list of these functions, corresponding to find some teaching cases.In order to further understand the image method in senior physics teaching the present situation of the application, this study questionnaire survey was conducted by means of investigation on students, has a big gap with the expected results. Students don't realize the advantages of image method, teachers also have no enough attention to the image method of effect on the students. The reasons of the results are in two aspects, in the teachers and in the students. Combined with the reason conclusion, put forward some teaching suggestions, the proposal is mainly teachers, because teachers in the teaching demonstration leading role, only teachers pay attention to the correct guidance, students will truly become masters of learning.
