Since the eighties of the last century, China will "action research" concept education from abroad, especially with the new curriculum progresses, more and more scholars and teachers studied a lot of action research, and made great achievements. But compared with other countries, our research there is a gap, especially when many of the teachers there are some errors in the conduct of action research, leading research can not achieve the desired results or even impossible to carry out research. Therefore, I will carry this issue to the study and practice of geography teacher action research study.The author in this study, a survey of geography teachers conducted by the Educational Research action, find out the results of the analysis in the investigation process of action research problems and cause analysis, and propose corresponding solutions, in order to look better geography teachers in action to promote research and education. This article is currently teaching geography select 113 teachers and 36 students in the school geography education questionnaire for the survey, of which 14 were interviewed geography teacher in-service, combined with the author’s own experience, the purpose is to identify the geography teachers in action research problems. This paper is divided into seven parts:Part I, the introduction. From the reason of the research, research of the status quo at home and abroad and the purpose, meaning, methods and ideas and other aspects of the research done on the profile of action reviewed.Part II, Geography teacher and theoretical basis for action to carry out research. First the concept of action research has defined the meaning of action leads to conduct research, and theoretical basis for action research are described in detail.Part III, Investigate the status quo and problems of geography teachers to carry out action research. Present Situation of geography teacher action research to do a survey, and the survey data analysis to identify the problems.Part IV, Analysis of the causes of the problems. Geography teacher from their school and other internal factors and external factors objective support conditions in this chapter are two aspects to analyze the causes of the problems.Part V, Developing the Action Research. This chapter describes the path of "five-step cycle" Action Research.Part VI, For geography teachers to carry out action research problems Solutions. In this chapter the smooth conduct action research to guarantee geography teacher put forward some suggestions and strategies.Part VII, Case Study. A case study in action during the internship of the author, personally carried to practice demonstration, and to improve the professional quality of geography teachers help.
