The emergence of micro-lesson has caused a great stir in the field of education, and aroused a wave of "micro-lesson boom" compared to the roaring trade of Khan Academy in foreign K12. However, the real meaning of micro-lesson was baffled. People think that it is the same as the traditional classroom live recordings and merely putting new wine into old bottles. At the same time, a lot of people think it is a short-term speculation due to the less use of micro-lesson in the classroom. In this scenario, we urgently need to explore and research the value and applying orientation of the "micro-lesson" in basic education.On the basis of continued focus on the application of micro-lesson, this paper discusses the core value of micro-lesson in basic education, and interprets the applying orientation the applying model of the micro-lesson. This study select Chongqing Jiangj in Jukui Middle School, the Primary School Affiliated to Southwest University as the research sample. Based on the application status, the study collected and combed relevant information and date about the application of micro-lesson in school education through the questionnaire survey method, interview method, and participatory observation. Besides, this paper specifically described the applying model of micro-lesson, and analyzed the advantages and deficiencies of micro-lesson in the practical teaching, and further the different understanding and view of teachers, students and parents to micro-lesson in detail.The characteristics of micro-lesson (e.g., short, small, fine, live etc.) provide appropriate resources for students, the exaggeration of media cause that each school regard the micro-lesson as a symbol of the modernization of teaching. This kind of blindness lead to the bad results that teachers and students were not prepare for the micro-lesson, and the application of micro-lesson weaken the emotion of the teachers and students. Finally, based on the in-depth analysis of the problem of micro-lesson in the actual teaching and the possible trend, this paper put forward specific strategies for future application of micro-lesson guidance, such as the development of cooperation between business and school, and teachers and students should pay attention to maintaining the emotion during the application of micro-lesson. The ultimate goal is to avoid the disadvantages of micro-lesson, and improve students’ learning efficiency by using the vantage point of it in basic education.
