The aim of education is the core topic of the education principle, and whether it can be put into practice in reality exerts great influence on the education effect. Based on the document analysis, this thesis tries to explore an in-depth understanding of "Weiyu" and the aim of education. Current aim of education in China mainly includes the following contents:education is an important way to transfer the human civilization; education should be ideal and practical; education should pay attention to the harmonious development of human and society; education advocates humanistic education with scientific method, etc. and the aim of education happens to hold the same view with "Weiyu" about the relationships between human and nature, human and society, ideal and reality. Therefore, it is reasonable that using the idea of "Weiyu" guides the implementation of the aim of education.Based on the intrinsic link between the aim of education and "Weiyu", the thesis finds there are some problems in the practice of educational aim in China, such as education utilitarianism, educational idealization, individualism and scientism. After in-depth exploration, it is founded that the root of these problems is that the aim of the education in practice fails to fully reflect the idea of the "Weiyu" which advocates the balance between man and nature, man and society, spirit-moulding and material acquisition. Therefore, the research takes "Weiyu" as a new perspective to explore the practical problem of the aim of the education, The thesis holds that our education should take the idea of "Weiyu" as the guide, which can make the aim of the education to be carried out in a relaxed and harmonious environment. In addition, in the practice of education, the unity of science and humanism, individualism and socialism that is required in the "Weiyu" should be advocated, which can make the purpose of education not only a text of education prospect but also an important constituent which can be put into practice and promotes the development of education.
