Educational practice is an important part of vocational and technical teachers education.The basic connotation of it refers to the process of teaching practitioners to undertake concrete teaching tasks in a real school situation and to obtain preliminary professional teaching experience under the guidance of teachers.The pre-service educational practice plays an irreplaceable role in vocational teachers’ professional development.Expansionary educational practice is a new paradigm featured with expansibility and systematization.Plenty of explorations on educational practice have been made and rich practical experience has been accumulated in the long-term vocational and technical teachers education of Hunan Agricultural University.All these provides a practical basis for expansionary educational practice.The significance of expansionary educational practice can be illustrated by the theoretical perspectives of the workplace learning theory,tacit knowledge theory,teachers’ professional development theory and teachers’ practical knowledge theory.The construction of the objective system of expansionary educational practice involves three dimensionalities of knowledge goal,capability goal and affection and attitude goal,and ten core abilities of acquiring initial practical knowledge,consolidating pedagogical content knowledge,understanding and applying professional knowledge,acquiring certain teaching design ability of vocational education,acquiring certain classroom management ability,acquiring certain moral education and head teachers working ability,acquiring certain communication and cooperation ability,acquiring positive teacher professional experience,cultivating feelings of vocational education,and strengthening educational and scientific research awareness.It is not only an expansionary objective system after upgrading,but a dynamic and open one.The upgrade of objective system will inevitably lead to the reform of practice contents.The expansionary educational practice generally include six modules: classroom teaching,moral education and head teacher’s work,campus cultural activity design and originality,teacher professional experience,research and analysis of vocational education,and teaching observation.Each module can be divided into a series of basic task points.It is an expansionary system of educational practice with the combination of expansibility and multiple modules.Meanwhile,the expansionary educational practice has its special requirements for process management,involving the establishment of practice mechanism,preparation before practice,supervision during practice,evaluation after practice.Expansionary educational practice is not only an abstract theoretical construction,but also a real educational practice activity.So its implementation can be used for case study.Based on the content analysis on the summary statements of thirty teaching practitioners from seven majors of “internship team of The Professional Secondary School of Xinhua County” of Hunan Agricultural University in 2019,sixty-five statements about educational practice and their feelings have been summed up,in which the positive and neutral statements account for 84.6% or so.The result can be explained.Expansionary educational practice is still an open issue that needs to be further explored.
