| This paper selects the curriculum standards that meet the actual situation of the curriculum as the standard to research reading module through systematic analysis of teaching evaluation methods and standards that have significant impact in domestic and abroad. The paper combines the text analysis method, literature method and questionnaire survey method to analyze the reading module of FLTRP version of English textbook in Senior High school. First of all, in order to find whether the five levels meet the standard requirements or not, and find out the drawbacks of the textbooks, we use the "ordinary Senior High school English curriculum standard"(Experiment) as the standard of the set of textbooks to analyze the reading module of the textbook from Book One to Book Five in five levels, namely language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness. Secondly, through the same five-level questionnaires from the teachers and the students,we grasp the actual usage situation of the part of reading module. Meanwhile, we also analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the reading module. Finally, the paper also make some recommendations for the writers, teachers and students in using reading module.This paper involves five parts:Part I: Introduction. It mainly introduces the research origin, researching object and defining the major definitions. The part of literature review describes the studying situation on this issue at home and abroad. The Studying issues and thoughts parts describe the questions and the methods in the research. the last part is the theoretical and practical significance of the research.Part II: Analysis of the reading module based on the curriculum standards. This part is based on the Seven- level of the curriculum standards to discuss the reading module deeply, respectively analysis from the five aspects: language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitude, learning strategies and cultural awareness.Part III: Survey based on the questionnaires to learn the situation of using reading module. This section evaluates and analyzes the five aspects ability about reading language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness in reading module and provide detailed information for the problems presented.Part IV: Conclusions. Finding out the advantages and disadvantages of reading module based on the analysis of the curriculum standards and the current situation of questionnaire survey.Part V: Recommendations. This section mainly explains thinking and inspiration in the research process. The research will give some suggestions for FLTRP editors, teachers and students in using the textbooks better, hoping to provide them with useful help. |
