"post-90s" Students Socialist Core Values Foster Research And Practice

It is very important to cultivate the youth when they are at the stage of building and forming values, since the youths’ value orientation decides the way of a society in the future. Although the mainstream of the values of post-90 s college students is positive, there still exist the tendencies of utilitarianism, individualism,lack of ideal and faith, money worship and hedonism。 Therefore it is of great significance to intensify the study on the cultivation and enforcement of the socialist core values of post-90 s college students.The results of a questionnaire, conducted among post-90 s college students about the acceptance and enforcement of socialist core values, are to be analyzed in terms of factors like gender, political status, growing environment. The main problems found above include the inadequacy of acceptance in both extensiveness and profoundness, the divorce between enforcement will and practical action, the deviation between acceptance of social core values and their own values, the lack of enforcement ability, the inconsistence of enforcement between collective interest and individual interest, etc. Then, based on the dialectical relationship between internal and external causes, reasons for the problems are analyzed from the inadequacy of effectiveness of external cultivation system and the influence of their own thinking models. Two approaches to improving the situation of cultivation and enforcement of posr-90 s college students are proposed. On the one hand, measures should be taken to make the cultivation contents hierarchical and practical,innovate on cultivation methods, integrate cultivation resources, and strengthen the assessment and appraisal mechanism and feedback mechanism of cultivation effect. On the other hand, college students shall enhance self-appraisal, realize the shortcomings of their values, and gradually improve themselves so as to the enforcement ability.
