Teachers are the center of educational plans, and education scientific research isthe core of a teacher’s qualities. A teacher’s education scientific research is thedominant factor of his development, it is also the important element of improvingeducational quality and efficiency, as well as the key to the success of educationalreform. In order to adapt the demands of the times and the requirements of educationalreform, nowadays, teachers of primary school all over the country have thrownthemselves into the teacher’ s education scientific research with unprecedentedenthusiasm. However, through the growingly flourishing situation of primary schoolteacher’s education scientific research, we can find less easily that primary schoolteacher’s education scientific research is now in an unsmooth and ineffective dilemmabecause of the biases from guiding ideology, theory awareness and operating mode.Based on some prominent and burning problems that have emerged in primary schoolteacher’s education scientific research in ethnic regions, this study only makes parts ofprimary school teachers in Tongdao Dong Autonomous County of Huaihua City inHunan Province as the research object. After a series of questionnaire surveys andrelevant interviews, the author have a intensive research on the situation of educationscientific research about the primary school teacher in Tongdao Dong AutonomousCounty, hoping to reveal and analyze the basic situation of primary school teacher’seducation scientific research in the whole ethnic region. And then a few improvementcountermeasures for solving related problems are put forward.By means of field surveys and face-to-face interviews, we can find that educationscientific research of primary school teachers in Tongdao Dong Autonomous Countyhas got some achievements, but there are also some problems that couldn’t be neglectedand shown in the following three aspects. At first, problems involve in teachers’inaccurate awareness of education scientific research, such as the neglects of researches’significance, the lack of innovation consciousness and motivations. In the second place,the imperfect guarantees for education scientific research, it covers the leaders’inadequate attention, insufficient funds, unsatisfactory training efficiency and teacher’sweak ability of education scientific research. In addition, problems refer to the unreasonable management of the education scientific research, such as the incorrectevaluation, separation between teaching and study. Focusing on these troublesomeproblems, the author is trying to make a concrete attribution analysis of the situation ofeducation scientific research about the primary school teacher in ethnic regions fromthree aspects, that is education authorities, schools, and teachers themselves.Finally, combing with the above analysis and based on the reality of ethnic regions,the author of this study raises pointedly several countermeasures to improve the presentsituation from the system perspective. Firstly, educational authorities are obliged toformulate relevant policies to perfect the guarantee for education scientific research.Secondly, schools are needed to construct scientific research environment by developingschool-based research to enhance the quality of scientific research. Thirdly, teachersthemselves have to improve their own qualification of scientific research to improvetheir research practice. In a word, only if educational authorities, schools, teachers tryall means with a multi-joint force, the primary school teacher’s education scientificresearch in ethnic regions could get increasingly reliable guarantees, gain moreefficiency and own a greater future.
