Education problem has always been the focus of the world’s people. To the people of thewhole country, the college entrance examination in June every year has always become themost intense thing. However in recent years, a puzzling phenomenon-refusing to take examcome up. According to statistics, in2013, more than one million of nation’s studentsabandoned the examination.In the country of Chinese, education is left out by people. Famers no longer chaseattending university. There are a lot of teenagers choosing to give up their own academic early.Farmers are getting richer, but the no poor out-of-school phenomenon is more and moreobvious. Around this abnormal phenomenon, author developed an investigation and studyinWuma town of Bozhou city Qiao cheng district in Anhui province.This article is divided into six chapters. The fist chapter introduces the origin andsignificance of this study, related literature review, related concepts and related theories.Concepts include out-of-school, migrant workers, stay-at-home children. Related theories arecultural capital theory and human capital theory. The second chapter is the basic situation ofthe local, mainly includes three parts:1,the introduction of basic situation of Wuma town,2,the introduction of Li Ge,Zhou Zhuang and Wen Lou,3, the introduction of Wuma school.The main content of the third chapter is research method and process. This chapter introducesthe research method and the analysis of samples, states the relationship of the family income,the attitude of treating migrant working, educational expectation, family education, ruraleducation, subculture and out-of-school. The fifth chapter is the analysis of the consequencesof out-of-school, studying the bad influence of out-of-school on the youth, their family andsociety. The sixth chapter is discussion and conclusion, states the worries about future ofrural.This research mainly revolves around the following questions:1, What are effectsunequal distribution by education opportunity on rural adolescents?2, What is effect collegegraduates from rural on rural adolescents?3, What is the parent’s attitude toward theirchildren out of school?4, What is the attraction rural migrant workers in city to ruraladolescents?5, What is view of rural adolescents to education?6, What is effect thephenomenon of out-of-school on the future development of rural?Through studying investigation material and data, the research get two conclusionsmainly:1,The increased of the ratio of out-of-school of rural adolescents relate to thetransition of social values about education. That is, famers believe that getting best education resources is difficult, cultural capital is difficult to play a role, and cultural capital’s incomewell below expectation. Low income and high investment decrease famers’ enthusiasm forhigher education.2, The occurrence rate of rural out-of-school adolescents is positivelyrelated with occurrence rate of migrant workers. That is, migrant worker’s children’spossibility of out-of-school is higher than non-migrant worker’s children’s. Family educationfunction is weaker. Inter-generational education influence rural adolescents’ normalsocialization process.
