Entrepreneurship education plays important roles in cultivating college students’entrepreneurial awareness, spirit and ability. As the important carrier of ideologicalquality education, entrepreneurship education is of great significance in guidingstudents to establish correct values and fostering entrepreneurial quality.Based on literature analysis and questionnaire survey, using Marx’s theory aboutthe essence of man and overall development, Marx’s value theory and Bruner’scognitive discovery theory, the study discusses five values of entrepreneurshipeducation in enhancing students’ ideological quality, including goal-directed value,moral intelligence value, normative and practical orientation, self efficacy. The studyinvestigated500undergraduates from10universities, found that students withentrepreneurial experience have a better understanding of entrepreneurship values,gainmore significant improvement in hard-working, team cooperation, social responsibility,psychological quality, comparing to students without relevant experience. Theinvestigation also shows students’ quality, college education model and socialenvironment are the important factors that affect entrepreneurship education’s role inimproving ideological quality.Combined with factors influencing,suggestion forfurther improvement of students’ ideological quality are: attaching great importance toideological and political education value of entrepreneurship education,integrating theentrepreneurship education into the process of talent development, and delving thecontent of ideological and political education in entrepreneurship education, expandingthe pathway for enhancement of ideological quality,innovating education method andstrengthening the effective of ideological quality education. The innovation of the paper is to illustrate paths to enhance students’ ideologicalquality through entrepreneurship education from the perspective of value,which arespecific,practical and feasible in educational practice.
