Chinese nation leaves precious traditional culture for its future generations in its5000-year glorious development, which are the crystal of human knowledge and thetreasure of human wisdom and civilization. Nowadays, many countries over theworld are making a wider range of study and spreading of traditional Chinese culture.Advocated and called by some master teachers of Chinese culture, China is alsotaking classic reading as an important way of inheriting traditional Chinese culture.The classic reading once grow vigorously at primary schools, but the upsurge of thereading seems to slowly fade away after a period of time. Some activities of thereading have been completely disrupted and some others have gone through themotions. Only few schools are still keeping the classic reading in good state. Throughthe investigation and the comparative study of the classic reading, the reasonsmentioned above have been found to be factors that can play a very important role inthe process of the classic reading.This study mainly analyzes the present situation of the classic reading in TheAffiliated Primary School of Yunnan Normal University, and the author conceives theconstruction of the classic reading model and its evaluation model through studyingthe related assessment theory of the reading and analyzing the current situation andthe evaluation of the reading in The Affiliated Primary School of Yunnan NormalUniversity so that the activities of the classic reading can be promoted by a reasonableand multivariate evaluation to achieve the purpose of developing the capacity of thepupils in an all-round way.
