Social Worker’s Differentiated Coping Strategies Under The Background Of Goal Displacement In Social Work Institution

As a phenomenon in organizational behavior,“goal displacement”has receivedextensive attention in various academic fields,but has not yet been involved in thestudy of the domestic social work.In this paper,because of a long professionalpractice in FY social work institution in G City,the author has an opportunity to focuson the differentiated coping strategies in the context of occurring goal displacement insocial work institution.By the field work research,the paper pays attention on the topicof the status of goal displacement and the formation and development of socialworker’s differentiated coping strategies to deal with it in the operation and service ofsocial work institution.The paper is to discuss the phenomenon of goal displacementand social worker’s response to explore the power strategies coping with goaldisplacement in social work field.This dissertation mainly consists of6parts as follows:The introduction partillustrates the research background and research design;the second part is literaturereview and theory framework;the main body is divided into three parts.Firstly,introducing FY institution and showing the status of FY’s goal displacement tomake bedding the background for exploring social worker’s copingstrategies.Secondly, discoursing social worker’s differentiated coping strategies todeal with goal displacement and the response of the social work situation.At last,theauthor discusses social work’s dilemma and coping strategies under goal displacement.Finally, the author discusses the objectives under the social dilemma and alternativecoping strategies. This paper attempts to study alternative social organizational goals,showing the survival and development of a social institution under differentperspectives, in order to better achieve social institutions formal goals and target theinterests of maintenance services provided for reference study materials and practicestrategies.This paper attempts to study the goal displacement in social work institution toshow its problem of survival and development in a different perspective in order toprovide study materials for reference and practice strategies to better achieve formalgoals and safeguard the interests of the service object for social work institution.
