Against the background of the reform in New Curriculum, calls for the all-round education are on the rise day by day. In2001, the reform of Chinese Teaching in middle school proceeded in an all round way, so did the Chinese Textbooks for middle school undergo a radical reform. Under such circumstance, Chinese teachers are supposed to update their own teaching theory in terms of textbook analysis by means of putting the images in books into the real context. This paper is designed to analyze the female images in the PEP edition of Chinese Textbook for middle school from the perspective of feminism literature. Such female images as Hua Mulan, Aunt Yang and Mama Chang could be seen in Chinese Textbook for middle school at the present time. The analysis of those female images has long been running into situation in the right of male-dominated tradition discourse in the absence of our knowledge about it.
