Since eighty’s of last century, our country has entered a stage of rapidly development. With theimplementation of the reform and open policy, great changes have taken place in social life. As for theadolescent students in the new era, they not only are provided a broad stage and bright prospects,adolescent, but also encounter a lot of problems and contradictions.The majority of contemporary high school adolescent students are almost the generation after90s. Becausemany of them are the only child of their families, they are light of heart from care, enjoying family love andparent agency. Many of the adolescent students are not self-dependence, and are of poor psychologicalquality, especially when coming to frustration. Losing their parents’ and families’"umbrella", they will berattled and don’t know what to do. In the present society, it is often heard that some adolescents play truant,some run away from home, and some kill themselves. When frustration occurs, many adolescent studentshave no courage and chose to escape. The way of doing things negatively will not only affect their studies,but also influence the development to their future.The basic task of frustration education is to improve the cognitive ability of adolescent frustration, to learnthe proper use of psychological defense mechanism and psychological adjustment mechanism, to enhancethe ability of resolving frustration. The frustration education should be of guidance, penetration, practiceand perennial. The principles of frustration education are combining dispersed education with intensiveeducation, combining other-people education with self education, combining improving cognition andenhancing practice ability, combining school education, social education and home education. Frustrationeducation, which is also called setback education, is to make adolescent students meet with temper, toenrich adolescent students acknowledge, to improve adolescent students’ ability of overcome difficultiesand manage with frustration, by consciously setting up some difficult conditions. The core of the frustrationeducation is to make adolescent students be tempered with various difficulties.
