Under the new situation, bilingual education is an important method of personnel training and the reform direction of higher education. From the international perspective, the demand for international level talents is become bigger and bigger, as the world economic integration and fierce competition between states. As a result, bilingual education as the foundation of cultivated economy, science, technology and society talents has carried out in many developed countries. From the domestic perspective, China has more opportunities to communicate with other countries as the strengthening degree of opening to world. Our country’s top education institutions realize comprehensive talent who has bilingual thinking and ability is the inexhaustible driving force of our country’s development and deepening reform. So, bilingual education is developing in universities of domestic. As a key construction western college of the ministry of education, Inner Mongolia agricultural university is taking the task of cultivating talents, the development of the northwest to widen the channel of the cultivation of talents for development of the western region. As early as2005, IMAU has begun to implement bilingual education, however, there still exist many problems.The paper tries to find out the suitable ways and methods for bilingual education of IMAU, through anglicizing the carrying out situation and existing problems of bilingual education in the university.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part states research background, significance, theoretical basis and innovation of bilingual education. The second part compares the different concepts of bilingual and bilingual education both at home and abroad, then gives the concept of IMAU. The third part talks about the bilingual education of IMAU. The fourth part analyses the experience and problems of bilingual education in IMAU through the questionnaire survey. The fifth part tries to find the right direction and methods of the bilingual education in IMAU through research.
