| Abstract:Table tennis,badminton and tennis are belong to small ball sports whichwill be involved in this essay. It is also belong to the group of standing on both sides ofnet with bat. Because this kind of sport has a lower requirement on physical fitness, butwith lots of amusement, both male and female can play it, no body-touching and lowdemands for playground conditions. So, this kind of sport is very popular amongstudents. Therefore, discussing about those disciplines and characteristics of thedevelopment of small balls spread in schools of the western Hunan Province,understanding the positive attitude among students and some objective conditions fromsociety and schools can providing cues for those developing areas and it’s sportdevelopment. Moreover, it can provide references and cues for the establishment of"Sunshine Sports" policy, regional citizenship of sports, to those sports major coursesand the reforme for sport courses at the same time.The researching uses some research method of literature resources, fieldworkmethod, questionnaires, mathematical statistics and so on. To recognize thecircumstances of the situation of studying small balls, courses arrangement,teachers&money, infrastructures, activities during break time and competetions amongstudents and teachers. To research and analysis it’s main factor of the influences on thesmall ball sport development.The research reveals that playgrounds for small ball sport is very limited.Especially, those indoor-playgrounds that fit on the promotion of small ball sport. Assport major, it’s hugely needing of tennis playgrounds; small ball courses arrangementhas already done(except tennis courses). But gap still remain between different schools,classes overrepresented and teaching materials construction and usage is not goodenough up to now; Most of small ball sport teachers to teach as a master degree. Most oftheir academic titles are TA or lecturer.Young teachers possess a major part of it.Excluding sport major courses. In common majors, small ball sport teachers are get apoor special skill ability. Most of them aren’t experts of teaching small ball sport; Manysmall ball sports are relatively popular among students in the schools of westernHunan province, But tabel tennis and badminton are more distinguished. students’studying motivation is diverse, but recognization on the knowledges of small ball sportsis not good enough. poor sport level bases; Small ball sport develop well in schools’break time activities of western Hunan province (except tennis). But, we still can notmake the most of clubs and assosiations. Organizations of competetions aren’t goodenogh, we have to be systematic. the insufficiency of infrastructures and attention fromleaders is the main factor of the limitation to develope small ball sport.Here some suggestions: increasing investements, expanding playground construction, using and developing venues resource rationally. Building tennisplayground should be resolved by the state of western Hunan province schools as soonas possible: reinforcing publicity, as leadership, to increase the attention andrecognization ability of small ball sport. Spreading small ball sport as much as possibleor copying successful experiences from other projects or regions. To make a doable planfor hugely developing small ball sport and focus on training for on-duty teachers so thatincreasing the teaching quality. if we can get much enough good conditions, to trainteachers or absorb capitals earlier, to prepare the arrangement of tennis courses. toestablish some clubs and assosiations. Organizing activities with lots of amuesment orstudying values with a different and diverse formation. Reinforcing curricularconstruction and extracurricular construction, Promoting sport activities in the out sideof classes; Optimizing the arrangement of table tennis and badminton courses,Organizing matches frequently. Thereby, it could be forming sort of brand and scale ofthe small ball sport as a result. To create good atmosphere of small ball sport so that thedevelopment of small ball sport in western Hunan Province would be better!... |
