Purpose: In a meditative state as an auxiliary means test, using thelatest transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technique to study theeffects of Qigong exercises for college students from the central nervoussystem to produce objective aspect. The use of transcranial magneticstimulation probe does not regularly participate in sports andparticipated in12weeks of college students in the Health Qigong BaDuan Jin exercise students hand back muscle motor evoked potentialscharacteristics, attend seminars Ba Duan Jin Qigong Students inpractice back muscles electrophysiological differences between ordinarycollege students. Methods: In this study, the use of four methods to literature, experimental method based. Experimental method is to select24people,divided into two groups of males and6people, including the experimentalgroup was selected from the2012-2013first semester elective gas homeworkstudents; controls are rarely exercise, and never attended gas homeworkand similar sports students. Experimental divided into four main phases, the first phase of testing before the experiment TMS, includingmeditation practices and explain TMS stimulation test three conditions(baseline, intended to keep the guide focused meditation) the specificmethods of operation, and TMS tests carried out before the experiment. The second stage is the stage of the experiment carried out, that is thesubject of the experimental group Ba Duan Jin Qigong exercises, whichexercises twice a week, every half an hour, a total of twelve weeks. The control group was not to participate in sports. The third stage isthe Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin exercise effect of TMS testing phase, that is to bring together all the participants meditation review, testand then test it in three TMS stimulation conditions (baseline again, intended to keep lead cited, focusing meditation) under the motor evokedpotential. The fourth stage is the data processing and statisticalanalysis using SPSS17.0. Specific operation is to test TMS TMSstimulation of8-shaped coil placed on the left side of the brain cortexof the central stimulation, stimulation of the right hand back musclesinformation transmitted along the nerve pathways to produce a motor evokedpotential, using surface electrodes reception hand back muscles evokedpotentials, analyze hand back muscle motor evoked potential latency andamplitude data. Results:First, the motor evoked potential latencies 1,the first set of experiments Qigong, no exercise group before and afterthe experiment to compare the latency of data within the group under threestimulation conditions, the rule is: focus on meditation> baseline>intended to keep the guide; while the experimental group after the latencydata Qigong the rule is: the underlying value> focus meditation> intendedto keep the lead.2,before Qigong experiments, three groups of the incubation period beforeand after the experimental data does not exercise group had no significantdifference (P>0.05) in three stimulus conditions.3,the latency data Qigong group before and after the experiment to comparetwo sets of data showed significant differences (P <0.05) in threestimulus conditions, on the basis of its value, intended to keep thefocus on meditation and guided three stimulation conditions both appearsignificantly decreased.Second, the motor evoked potential amplitude1,before and after the experiment Qigong group, the amplitude data isnot in the exercise group were compared before and after the experimentin the group of three stimulation state, the rule is: focus on meditation<baseline <intended to keep the lead.2,before Qigong experiments, three groups of amplitude data do notexercise group before and after the experiment there was no significantdifference (P>0.05) in three stimulus state.3,the amplitude data Qigong groups were compared before and after theexperiment, these two sets of data showed significant differences (Pstimulated in three states <0.05), there was no significant difference(P value in the base state>0.05), but guidance and care to keep focusedmeditative state significantly decreased (P <0.05) appears next. Conclusions:Qigong exercise1,12Ba Duan Jin Zhou, the practitioners can decrease theexcitability of the central nervous system.Qigong exercise2,12Ba Duan Jin Zhou, the central nervous system can makethe practitioners ability to respond to external stimuli strong.3,12Ba Duan Jin Zhou Qigong exercises enable practitioners to focus onideas to do "save boxing angry increase strength" when the action of thecentral nervous system remains superficial excitement.4,12Ba Duan Jin Zhou Qigong exercise will enable practitioners to focuson the idea of relaxation, when the idea of watching his cerebral cortexinto further suppression phase.
