Chinese is a subject which has the chacaters of instrumentality and humanity.It has thefunction of inheritting inherit.It also has the obligation of developing students’full personality.As the basic carrier,Chinese text books contain the rich humanistic connotations. They have agreat influnce on developing students’views of life and value.In this aspect,the multiculturalfemale images play a irreplaceable role in the textbooks.This paper will take the female images in Senior high school textbooks(PEP)as theresearch subject.We will explore them by the appraaches of literature survey, statistics,textualanalysis and so on.There are three main parts in it. The first part is to count up the number ofthe selected female images in high school textbooks(PEP).By studying their distribution rule,we will sort them out according to their patterns and values.In the second part,we will focuson exploring and explaining the educational nature in the female images.We will also discussabout the multiple types of female images,and their significances in the help of developingsdudents’ views of life and value. In the third part,Based on the former two parts,We will havea full review of the education and teaching in women images at the moment.Then,we will seethe problems and disadvantages and discuss about the points to figure them out.Inaddition,All this research is to help the interrelated selections more relative to the requests ofthe new curriculum reformation.
