This paper focuses on the phenomenon of girl bullying in China’s middle school. As is well known, adolescence is a vital stage in one’s life, a time period happens tobe in the middle school, during which boys and girls would have to face greatchallenges from academic pressure as well as other sides. Thus, no wonder it could bepaid so much attention. However, being quite different from the world of boys, girlsare more likely to hide the true ideas and feelings of their own from others in ordernot to annoy someone and live in harmony with them. Situations therefore becomevery complicated because of that, especially which is related with bullying amonggirls. Fail to be noted by majority of people, both the bullies and the victims couldn’tbe treated properly. As time goes by, some of the victims may go to the other extremeand fight for themselves, even for revenge, in their own ways. At that time, nothingcould be much worse.Well consideration accordingly has given to this special issue. Female studentsfrom8thgrades in middle school as well as their teachers and parents are invited totake part in the research on the phenomenon of girl bullying in China’s middle school. The paper then reaches conclusion as girls’ silence has been misunderstood byteachers in school and been underestimated by theirs parents in their homes. Also, it isthe ambition for power, the need to belong and the need for security that are the keywords for girl bullying, which drive girls to think carefully about the decisions theywould make later when they are involved in such situation. At present, we still have alot to learn about how to prevent, how to intervene in, and how to cope with girlbullying wisely. In order to create a better circumstance for girls, we should work withas many people as we can.
