The lesson of the programming design is a compulsory course of thestudents in the first semester. Because the course is aimed to the beginner ofthe programming design, and the course is the base of other subsequentprofessional course, our purpose is to let the beginner master this coursemore accurately and cultivate the flexible thought of programming design.But, as the survey has revealed, the current teaching of the programmingdesign has many problems. For an example, at the beginning of the beginnerget in touch with the programming, they have not had the knowledge of theprogramming which will produce the fear this course. They will regard thiscourse as a complex problem and can’t find the way of studying this course,so they will lose the interest of studying gradually. And on the other hand,the teacher still use the traditional teaching method, which explain and showthe key point of the knowledge and the example with the multimedia orwriting on the blackboard, on the theory course. But this method do notconsider whether the students can assimilate the knowledge or not, and thiswill lead the students get nothing and the teachers pay out their toil withoutany return. Take these factors into consideration, the author suggest ourteachers should teach the syntax elements of the programming design to thestudents selectively, and focused on foster the students’ programming abilityof analyzing and solving problems.Based on Constructive Learning Theory and Ausubel’s CognitiveStructure Theory, this paper further analyses the relationship between thealgorithm and syntax rules and the role they play in Programming andrecommends a teaching method of using Programming language syntaxsubset by means of literature research method, questionnaire method,experiment method and mathematical statistic method.With reliable experimental data from a specific experimental teachingactivity and authentic teaching result of from students by questionnaire, this paper analyses the feedback in detail and then comes to the conclusionfinally, which makes it convincing and meaningful.It has been proved that the teaching method of applying theprogramming design subset improves the teaching efficiency greatly,inspires students’ curiosity, stimulates students’ interests, and better students’analyzing and problem-solving ability significantly.This article is based on an experimental data, through a concreteexperimental teaching task. Then analyze the feedback of the teaching effectby the way of questionnaire survey, and get the final conclusion at last. Theresearch of this subject is full of significance.The practice has proved that, through the grammar subset ofprogramming design to carry out teaching, we can not only improve theefficiency of teaching and also stimulate the students’ interest of studying,which increase the ability of the students’ analyzing and solving problemssignificantly.
