In the era of artificial intelligence,the international community generally believes that outstanding talents should have certain computing thinking and programming skills,and programming education is an important way to cultivate computing thinking.Programming education should start with the baby.However,in actual teaching,many front-line teachers still use the old teaching strategies and teaching thinking,and use computer room for programming teaching.As a result,students cannot intuitively feel the effect of program operation,and their interest in learning programming has weakened.These problems have not yet been solved very well.In recent years,robot education is gradually entering the classroom of primary and secondary schools,teaching students to understand and operate robots as soon as possible is becoming necessary for the times.In view of this,this study takes 5th to 6th grade primary school students as the research object,and adopts relevant theoretical methods to carry out exploratory research on the use of robots for primary school programming teaching.This research adopts research methods such as literature research method,action research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.Through one-semester teaching experiment,it applies and verifies the effectiveness of teaching strategy of robot programming in primary schools.The main work of this research includes:(1)Sort out related research literature on robot education and primary programming education,define related concepts such as programming education,robot education,and primary programming teaching strategies.Based on constructivism,Dewey's‘learning by doing'education theory and multiple intelligence theory as the theoretical basis,follow-up research is carried out.(2)On the basis of related theoretical research,based on the primary goals of primary school programming teaching,the psychological characteristics and age characteristics of primary school students,and the implementation conditions of programming teaching in primary schools,a set of programming teaching strategies are formulated and applied In practical programming teaching,the purpose is to stimulate students' interest in programming and improve the learning effect.The teaching strategy of robot programming in primary schools proposed in this study include:Strategies for creating emotional story situations to stimulate learning interest;Strategies for using multiple methods to teach programming knowledge;Strategies to improve learning initiative by combining collaborative learning with individual guidance;Strategies to enhance programming interactivity by organic connection between interactive experience and timely feedback.(3)According to the established teaching strategy,carry out three rounds of teaching practice.This experiment selects students from a maker interest group in a provincial primary school in Jinan,Shandong as the teaching object,and conducts three rounds of teaching action research in a semester in accordance with the four steps of planning,action,observation and reflection,adjusts the teaching strategies appropriately according to the actual teaching,and carries out primary school programming teaching according to local conditions.Before or in the process of action research,it is necessary to prepare a record of students' classroom learning performance,a questionnaire on students' curriculum learning effect and an outline of teachers' after class interview.Use questionnaires and interviews to conduct process evaluations and summative evaluations of the entire teaching activity.Compare and analyze the experimental data obtained before and after the students use teaching strategy of robot programming in primary schools.The relevant research results of the research verify the the effectiveness of teaching strategy of robot programming in primary schools.The results show that most of the students have improved their interest in programming learning and achieved good teaching results after using the robot programming teaching strategy in primary school.This has confirmed to some extent the effectiveness of teaching strategy of robot programming in primary schools.
