| With the rapid development of society and deepening of talent competition, there is more and more demand for talents in society. With the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the demand of education is also growing for people, and parents pay more and more attention to their children’s education. Nowadays, influenced by the diversity of education, parents has not satisfied with the learning time in school, and take eyes on their children’s development in many aspects in order to improve children’s competitive ability in the future. Thus providing children with more, earlier, better quality education has become the new boom of the current pupil family extra-school education. However, there are all sorts of problems exposed in the boom. Thus, as school and society, it is particularly important to guide pupil family actively to invest extra-school education scientifically and moderately.Family extra-school education investment refers to the money and time cost which a family take all kinds of school education content for their children to promote children’s physical and mental development, to cultivate their interests and hobbies, to increase their experience and open their minds as the goal during they has not yet independent in economy. This paper reflects objectively the current status of B and S primary schools in Hohhot by leafleting some documents and on-the-spot interviews, and analyses the factors that influence pupil family extra-school education investment. Then, the author finds the problem and the reason from the present situation of pupil family extra-school education investment.Lastly, in view of the problems and the reasons, the author puts forward corresponding suggestions and comments. This thesis mainly has four parts:In first part, it includes research ideas, research purpose, research methods, research significance and the background of the pupils’ family education investment. This part also defines the related concepts of family extra-school education and summarizes the predecessors about the research results of extra-school education training, family extra-school education spending.The second part analysis and summaries the present situation of pupil family extra-school education in Hohhot B and S primary school. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic investment situation on pupil family extra-school education in B and S elementary school. Through counting, the author finds that at least seventy percent of the students’ families in above two schools invest in extra-school education for their child and invest in various types; Secondly, the paper analyzes the students family expenditure proportion of household expenditure of two primary school, and finds that the students’ extra-school education spending dominates in household spending, some families’extra-school education spending up to20times more money than the campus education. Finally, this paper introduces the main factors that influence the differences between the family extra-school education investments. There is parents’ education level, parents’occupation type, household income, and the students’ academic performance, etc.The third part analyzes the problems and the reasons that pupils’ family extra-school education investment from parents, schools and other aspects. Among them, from the parent’s investment concept, investment motivation, investment trends and so on to analyze the main problems in pupils’ family extra-school education investment, the reasons of the existence of these problems are the cause of the family, school and other social forces.In the fourth part, according to the problems and the reasons, the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from family, school and other aspects. From the family aspect, the author advices that parents’ investment ideas should be modernized, according to their aptitude, strengths, and attaches great importance to the emotional education investment. From the school aspect, school should persist the goal that cultivate all-round development of students, strengthen the construction of teaching staff. In addition, the government, external training organizations, financial institutions, and higher education institutions should set a good example and actively guide the parents to invest on pupils’ extra-school education scientific and rational moderately. |
