With the influx of migrant workers, the number of their children who study in Suzhouis growing. Many of these children are poor at English and have learning difficulties,which become the difficulty of teaching English in some schools. By a questionnaire onstudents with English learning difficulties and interviewing some students, parents andteachers, this study analyzes the internals and external causes of migrant children withEnglish learning difficulties from family education, psychological factors, learningmethods. As junior high school English teachers, on the one hand, we should strengthenthe home-school links through home visits, home school Passepartout, telephone, SMS,micro letters and other means and provide some specific guidance. On the other hand, weshould pay more attention to non-mental factors. We can develop the confidence andinterest of students with English learning difficulties through a variety of ways and helpstudents with learning difficulties develop good study habits and master certain learningstrategies to transfer them gradually.
