With the development of the global economy and the information age, English has been more and more important and is the most widely spoken language in the world, so it becomes one of the most important courses for Chinese students. However, many students see English as the most difficult course, because even they spend too much time on it, they still can’t improve their learning. Teachers also feel puzzled that though they work hard, their teaching effect is not good. Though we know that students’ learning result is mainly determined by students’ hard work, in fact teachers have great influence on students, especially on those students with learning difficulties.This study mainly discusses four questions on the basis of the need hierarchy theory, self-actualization theory and person-centered theory of humanistic psychology and the theory of affective filter: 1.The influence of teachers’ attitude on the belief and confidence in English learning of students with learning difficulties; 2. The influence of teachers’ attitude on the learning interest in English of students with learning difficulties; 3. The influence of teachers’ attitude on the learning efficiency and learning effect of students with learning difficulties; 4. The influence of teachers’ attitude on the learning motivation of students with learning difficulties. The author selected 182 senior two students of Tanghu Middle School as the research participants and carried out the research with a questionnaire and individual interview.The result of the research tells us that teachers’ attitude towards teaching and learning have great influence on students with learning difficulties. Good education attitude can not only enhance the confidence and belief and increase the learning interest in English study, but also can improve learning efficiency and effect of students with learning difficulties. As far as the influence on the learning motivation of students with learning difficulties is concerned, good education attitude and teaching methods will make students with learning difficulties take part in class activities actively and try hard to overcome the difficulty in English study and make progress constantly.
