Learning motivation is a kind of inner motivation, or intrinsic motivation topromote individual participate in education and the learning activity. Learningmotivation is necessary for individuals’ meaningful learning activities, the level andintensity of learning motivation affect learning effect. With the speeding up ofurbanization construction in our country, the industrial structure adjustment and thetransformation of economic growth mode, puts forward higher and higher requirementsto new generation of migrant workers, prompting a growing number of new generationof migrant workers to join to learn. In such a case to discuss the problems of newgeneration peasant workers’ learning motivation, put forward effective strategy tostimulate and cultivate their learning motivation, improve their learning effect andimprove the ability of sustainable development, has important practical significance.The research on it is seldom seen, therefore, the research on it has important academicsignificance.This research mainly takes the new generation peasant workers’ learning motivationas the research object, in comparison to review and summarize systematically learningmotivation, on the basis of relevant theories, on the basis of reviewing and summarizingrelevant theories of learning motivation, through the investigation and study, understandthe current statua and problems of the new generation peasant workers’ learningmotivation, analysis the reasons for these problems, and puts forward strategy todevelop their learning motivation, in order to improve the learning effect and promotethe sustainable development of new generation of migrant workers, it is helpful toimprove the quality of the cultivation of the new generation of migrant workers.This research mainly includes five parts:In the introduction part, discusses the research reason, object and the researchsignificance, and review related literature at home and abroad, introduces the method inthis study.In part2, some concepts related to this research are identified and some basictheories are summarized.The third part, analyzed the new generation peasant workers’ learning motivation overall trend, and the differences of different demographic variables, and makeinvestigation summary.The fourth part, based on the results of the survey and the interview found that newgeneration peasant workers’ learning motivation is utilitarian value orientation, they lackof autonomous learning motivation; Inaccurate positioning of Learning motivationorientation, learning goals are not clear; Autonomy learning motivation lack ofincentives, unsustainable; The service consciousness light in learning motivation,self-interest is particularly outstanding; Self-fulfillment consciousness in learningmotivation is not strong; analyzes the factors influencing the new generation migrantworkers learning motivation, the influencing factors of new generation migrant workerslearning motivation mainly include: social, education institutions, new generationpeasant workers’ personal factors. Social factors include not setting up the scientifictalent view, urban and rural dual system, employment situation and other factors;Education institution factors include education environment, education contents,education methods and other factors; Individual factors include self-efficacy is low, lowincome level, cultural level is not high and lack of career planning and other factors.The fifth part mainly introduces the strategies of training and inspiring their learningmotivation. This part mainly aimed at the problems existing in the new generationpeasant workers’ learning motivation and the causes of influence, puts forwardstrategies from the aspects of society, education institutions and individual. Societyshould set up the scientific talent view, weaken diploma degree; Increasing financialinvestment, support the new generation peasant workers’ education; Reform urban-ruraldual structure, enhance the sense of belonging, establish the same system foremployment system and education training system in urban and rural areas; Set up andimprove the certification system of learning outcomes for the new generation migrantworkers, etc. Education institutions should strengthen the construction of teachers team,create a good learning environment, reform the education teaching content, etc. Newgeneration peasant workers should have definite learning motivation, take the personalneed and society need as organic unity, learn to correct attribution, and constantlyimprove their cultural level, etc.
