Virtual Reality is a new technique developed from the80’s of20th century,which is based on the computer as core, and integrated the technique of figure andimage creating, display and emulation. Virtual Reality was applied to many fields withits high simulation and immersion, such as aerospace, medical science, building design,movie and TV titles design, game development, webpage animation, education and soon.Flash3D as one of main representative of Virtual Reality, gather Flash andthree-dimension technique, and overcome the disadvantages of Flash technique whichwas only limited to two-dimension, inferior immersion, inferior interaction ofthree-dimension technique and high operating environment. Flash3D was wellwelcomed by the education field with its merits of well authenticity, flexible interactionand simplification of operating environment.Some complicated biological phenomenon, biochemical reaction and organicstructure were always difficult to express clearly with words, and traditional teachingmedia was also difficult to display. While the Flash3D can solve some problemsappeared in biological teaching, and serve to it.Based on the biological teaching needs and Flash characteristics, this studyanalyzed and discussed deeply related problems appeared in the creation of biologyteaching resources. And to exploit biology teaching resources based on Flash3D withthe second compulsory biology contents in senior middle school as the example, and toteach practice using it.This study firstly introduced subject backgrounds. Because of some demerits inbiology teaching, and there are teaching conditions of the application of Flash3D. Thecreation of teaching resources was put. Posteriorly, elaborating the Flash3D, and presenting based on this technique thatthe creation of the biology teaching resources required some theories including bind ofstimulatation-reacting, Edgar Dale, visual thinking and activity, to design and exploit,and design idea and design philosophy were presented.Using the development tool of Flash and3ds Max to analyze, design, exploitteaching resources based on Flash3D, under the theoretical basis and guiding principleof biology teaching resources.We found the merits and demerits of this resource, and amend the demerits, by theapplication of teaching practice. At the same time, the creation of teaching resourcesbased on Flash3D, a beneficial try is that Flash3D as a new resource, was introduced tobiology teaching was done, and a specific realization scheme was provided.
