Since reform and opening up, accompanied by industrialization and urbanization, a large number of rural surplus labor force transfer to the city, appeared the massive special groups that so-called "left-behind children". Lack of communications because of their Parents of migrant workers, the ineffectiveness education of temporary guardians and absence of family education all these factors caused many negative effects to the rural left-behind children’s growth. However, the left-behind girls even have a lower status compare with boys so that often been overlooked, In this research paper, by field survey on junior left-behind girls of chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture, analyze various factors affecting the left-behind girl’s education through combination of qualitative and quantitative methods and put forward targeted suggestions in order to offering help to the healthy development of left-behind girls.The thesis consists four parts. The first part is prolegomenon, which sets forth the significance and method of the research. The second part is introduction of junior left-behind girl’s basic situation including living region and school. The third part analysed the education problems of left-behind girls through learning, Psychology and safety. The forth part main stating the major reasons through analyse left-behind girl’s social environment, home education and school education which caused this problem. The last part put forward measures to solving problems.Based on the above analysis, four Conclusions have been presented:First, In addition to heavier labor, there are no differences between left-behind girls and other children. Second, as their own parents had left to work in cities, the reducing of self expectation and learning interest lead to left-behind girl’s academic performance become worse. Fortunately, compared with boys, they are not the worst. Third, the left-behind girls were suffering from numerous psychological problems such as loneliness, lack of self-confidence, sense of security and self-motivated, fearing interpersonal communication and learning etc. Forth, whether at home or in the school, sex education of left-behind girls was not involved.
