The object of research in this paper is inter-generational parents’education of left-behind children in our rural areas. Parent education refers specificallyto help parents or prospective parents provide knowledge and explicit attitudes aboutchild grow up and development, to make them competent the role of parents. Itincluding learning to enter married life prepare expectant parents and educate theirchildren, and so on. Generalized Parent educate also includes helping those guardianwho bring up child become qualified, rational and responsible.This paper discusses theleft-behind child’s inter-generational parents. Childhood personality is critical period ofcharacter, habits and moral develop. The inter-generational parents charged with theimportant task of physical and mental growth of children. It is necessary to receiveParent education.The main theoretical basis for parental education is psychoanalytic theory,behavioral learning theory, family systems theory, ecology theory and adult educationtheory. Those theories provide theoretical support for the study and practice of Parenteducation. This paper uses a questionnaire and literature study on the current situationand existing problems of our rural areas. And find that there are several major problems:the way of grandparents rearing children is single and traditional,Lack the knowledgeand skills of parent education; parenting attitudes is not clear and lack of scientificguide; Parenting education to promote slow and lack of intergenerationalcommunication platform; lack the necessary support services of upbringing theirchildren; lack of the necessary compensation measures of Parenting Education; And Thegenerational parents upbringing children lack of system security; the contents ofparenting education the lack of features and targeted.If the parents of children left-behind in our rural areas really want benefit fromparent education,this paper argues that: Changing concepts, improve inter-generationalparents’ awareness of the importance of parental education; government should takeaction from a legal, institutional and material and so on to protect the development andimplementation of inter-generational parents’ parenting education; improve support and services for inter-generational parents of parenting education; pursuecompensation of parenting education and strengthen homeland cooperation;multi-channel implemented parenting education of inter-generational parents,attracting groups, media and volunteers to joined; experience from the outstandingachievements of parenting educational research in abroad.
